Obituary of Gail Ellen Killam

In loving memory of Gail Ellen Killam.

Beloved wife of Kenneth Killam, whom she spent fifty-one beautiful married years side by side creating unforgettable memories in which he will cherish forever.
She was an adored mother of Charlene Jannetta (Jason), Stephanie Zammit (Brian) and Kristoffer Killam (Tiffany). All of whom inherited her stubborn nature and true resiliency.
Gail was also a cherished grandmother to Leighann, Preston, Nickolas, Haiylee, Emily, Natalee, Matthew, Mark, Kaira and Avery; great grandmother of Luke, Sierra, Charlotte and Paisley; and a dear sister to Barbara, Donna and the late Brock.

Gail was a tough cookie and as stubborn as can be. But those close to her, knew despite those qualities, she loved fiercely and had strength that knew no bounds.
She will be remembered not just for her spirited personality and strength, but also for her delicious baking and her infamous butter tarts.

She spent a notable portion of her life sitting as the matriarch of the family. Giving advice when asked (or not asked), tough love when deserved and a friend when in need.
Gail was a fighter to the very end. She truly was the bravest of us all.
