Obituary of Catherine Elizabeth McCoy
Passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday December 15th, 2022. Catherine McCoy of Lyn, Ontario aged 67 years. Beloved daughter of the late Elizabeth and Thomas McCoy. Loving sister of Terence S. McCoy and Susan P. McCoy; and sister-in-law of Rosalind Lau McCoy. Dear aunt of Sophie McCoy, Tamira McCoy and Timothy McCoy. Also missed by cousins Larry, Doug and Barbara McCoy.
Catherine “Cathy” was a free spirit, loving, friendly, outgoing woman who loved adventure and flying by the seat of her pants. In earlier years she was an avid horseback rider and the occasional golfer. She was very sympatico with animals and at various times had a wonderful playful German shepherd named Sanu and a series of cats which at one time numbered 3. Cathy’s premature unexpected passing reminds us we have a finite time on this earth, and we should treasure each day and opportunity. She will be sorely missed but hopefully now in a happier place.
