Obituary of Shirley MacIntyre
Peacefully entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday March 7th, 2023. Shirley (Shaver) MacIntyre of Brockville aged 95 years. Beloved wife of the late George MacIntyre. Loving mother of Cathy Hone (Doug), Barb Allan, Libby Matulaitis, Arleen Massey (Paul) and Duncan MacIntyre (Lucy). Cherished grandmother of Sean (Bonnie) and Brandon Allan (Kim), Devon (James) and Dori Hone, Tyler and Shelby MacIntyre, Cody and Kayla Massey, and Spencer and Ainsley Matulaitis. Daughter of the late Edward and Hazel (Francis) Shaver, and sister of the late Frank Shaver and Marion Gilmer. Also missed by many nieces and nephews.
As requested by Shirley there will be no public visitation or service. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. In memory of Shirley, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
