Obituary of Margaret Edgley

Entered into rest at Wellington House Nursing Home on March 9, 2023. Margaret Ethel Edgley aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Edward Edgley. Loving mother of Robert “Bob” (Ruth), Ron (Joanne), Paul (Barb). Loving grandmother of Steven (Dawn), Angie, Greg (Erika), Jason (Jenn), Randy (Leah), Paula (Jeff); great grandmother of Dallas, Madison, Brooklyn, Zakari, Preston, Reese, Cole, Chloe, Ava Christian, Jackson, Emme, Scarlett, Halle, and Laila; loving step grandmother of Kevin Currie (Jenn), Angie Astleford (Michael), Christopher Gray, Aimée Gill (Ryan), Shane Gray (Catie Ann Hall), Brittany Kohl (Maximilian); great step grandmother of Ashley, Brianna and Brooke. Marg is survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Herb and Carrie Easter, brothers Charlie, Donald(Ross), Bill, Fred, Doug, Bert, sisters Dorothy and Lillian, survived by sister Audrey Harper living in Western Ontario.

Margaret retired from Parke Davis (Trillium), she then took up a baby sitting career and she loved all of her kids. She loved playing baseball with her friends. Her life was her family, friends and the Church. We all know how mom loved her chocolate!

Family and friends may pay respects at Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville on Wednesday March 15, 2023 from 10 am – 12:45pm. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
