Peacefully at St. Lawrence Lodge on Tuesday January 29, 2008. The former Ethel Turland of Brockville age 97 years. Beloved wife of the late John Edward Kennedy, dear mother of Iris Laird of Brockville. Loving grandmother of Kevin Laird (Julie) of Strathroy, Stephen Laird (Diane) of Walkerton, Michael Laird (Karen) of Brinston and Peter Laird of Toronto and great-grandmother of Ryan, Courtney, Megan, Melissa, Tyson and Dylan. Survived by a sister Lil Nelson of Hamilton as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Janice Kennedy. A Graveside Service will be held at Oakland Cemetery on Friday February 1, 2008 at 1 p.m. Family and friends may pay their condolences at the home of Iris Laird at 135 Park Street.
