"My Dearest Daughter"

My dearest daughter, my heart is broken,

I miss your smile, your touch, your token

Of love and warmth you brought to me,

A light that shone so brilliantly.

Your laughter filled the room with joy,

Your kindness, pure and without alloy,

Your spirit, fierce and full of fire,

Your memory is now my heart's desire.

How can I live without your grace?

The world seems like a darker place,

But in my heart, I'll keep you near,

And treasure every moment we shared here.

So, rest in peace, my precious one,

Your work on earth is now done,

But in my heart, you'll live on,

Until we meet again, my darling daughter, gone but never gone.
