Obituary of David Frederick Fournier

David “Dave” Fournier, of Brockville aged 77 years, peacefully entered into rest with family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday June 8, 2023. Loving father of Tom Fournier (Dionne), Cheri Reddin (Daniel), Lise Fournier (Riad) all of Ottawa and Luc Fournier (Nikki) of Victoria. Treasured grandpa of Jillian, Hailey, Jessica, Eyob, Alyssa, Brett, Gabrielle, Brooke, Cooper, Kierra and Maiya; and cherished great-grandpa of Isla. Dear brother of John Fournier (Jane), the late Mary Bowlby (Ewart), Allen Fournier (Judy), the late Stephanie Elliott (Roger), Brian Fournier (Joan), Marylin Berkelaar (Jon), Beverly Fournier (Gilles), Chris Fournier (Judy), Bernadette Vandyken and Stephen Fournier (Denise). Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Josephine. 

Family and friends will be received at Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville on Thursday June 15, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated at St. John Bosco Parish, 175 Windsor Drive, Brockville on Friday June 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow immediately after the service at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.  In memory of David, donations to Canadian Red Cross or the Leeds and Grenville SPCA would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
