Obituary of Morris Slate

Entered into rest peacefully in hospital on July 24, 2023. Morris Edson Slate of Mallorytown, ON aged 76 years. Beloved husband of Nancy Wooding. Dear son of the late Edson and Mildred (Cranker) Slate. Morris is survived by his sister Katherine Urquhart, his sister-in-law Pat Slate, brother-in-law Michael Walsh and family and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is survived by step-daughter Jennifer Wooding. He is predeceased by his brothers Barry and Donald Slate and his brother-in-law Donald Urquhart.

A Graveside service will be held at the Rockport Cemetery on Sunday August 20, 2023 at 1 p.m., immediately followed by a reception. In memory of Morris, donations to the Rockport Protestant Cemetery or Leeds-Grenville OSPCA would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
