You have my heart-felt sympathy! I saw it on Facebook that Betty went to heaven.
I worked full time up on Evergreens and then I switched rotations to Honeysuckle. I knew your Mom well.
She talked lovingly of her family. You were very good to her. Betty was such a strong, caring and thoughtful woman! I have a pair of red angel earrings she made and I treasure them.
She was one of the first I would give meds to because I knew she needed them right on time. I am sad because I planned on visiting her this month.
I worked at the Lodge for 33 years, I retired last December. I couldn't help but get attached to certain residents and their families at times. Betty was very special to me. You were lucky to have your Mom for that long, and I know it's still hard.
Consider this a virtual hug from me, to all of you. She is in your hearts forever.
