Obituary of Nancy Ashton
November 11th, 1953 - October 2nd, 2023
It is with great sadness that Melissa and Michael Ashton announce the sudden passing of our dear and caring mother Nancy Elaine Ashton (nee Peyman) who died suddenly at her home on October 2nd, 2023, at the age of 69 years. Beloved wife of the late David George Ashton of over 40 years.
In addition to her children, she leaves to mourn daughter Jennifer Ashton and grandchildren Alyson and Jack of the late David Ashton; her brothers Paul and Dave Peyman, sister Carol Peyman; mother-in-law Marjorie (Souter) Ashton (Charlie Stickney); sisters-in-law Susan Ashton, Dr. Kathryn Ashton (Dr. Paul Newman), Mary Jane McGuire (Mathew); and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Predeceased by her father and mother Arthur and Noreen (Ball) Peyman; niece Julie Peyman; and father-in-law Ev Ashton.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street E., Brockville, on Saturday October 21st, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
