Obituary of Gordon Neild

Gordon passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 13th 2023, at the age of 83.

Gord was born in Brockville and was a long time resident of Augusta Township, where he spent many years as caregiver for his mother, Elizabeth, in her later years.  Gord enjoyed working on neighbouring farms, tending to his flower and vegetable gardens, and feeding  birds and other outdoor creatures that visited his yard. 

Gordon is survived by his siblings Jim (Arlene) Bill (Sharon) Fred (Kelly) Fran (Mike, predeceased) Rose (Garnet) Michael and Clara. Predeceased by sister Patricia.  Uncle Gord held a special place in his heart for his nephew, Cary Neild, and will be remembered by numerous other nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

In memory of Gord, donations to Ontario SPCA Leeds & Grenville Animal Centre would be appreciated by the family.
