Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Saturday, March 8th. 2008. Elwin Alvin Alfred Quartus of Elizabethtown, aged 69 years. Beloved husband of the former Joan Marie Atkins. Dear father of Shelley Huskinson of Brockville, Lisa Gallacher (Darryl) of Elizabethtown and Doug Quartus (Lynn) of Brockville. Grandfather of Stephanie, Matt, Kathy, Ben and Jacqui. Elwin is also survived by his father Lloyd Elwin Quartus of the Sherwood Park Manor and siblings Lloyd Quartus (Dottie) of Brockville, Pam Kirby (Rick) of Mallorytown and in-laws Linda Whaley (Roy) of Lyn and Dennis Atkins (Jeanne) of Brockville, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Elwin was predeceased by his mother Violet Ethel Quartus, his in-laws Gordon and Verna Atkins, a niece Krista Kirby and a sister-in-law Lynne Quartus. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, March 12th. 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery.
