Obituary of Brian Algate
Peacefully entered into rest at the Broadview Nursing Centre in Smiths Falls on Saturday December 23rd, 2023. Brian Algate formerly of Kingston aged 72 years. Beloved husband of Lois (Brewster) Algate. Father of Elvis (Melanie) and Adam Algate; and stepfather of Arnold (Cristine), Philip (Christine) and Victor (Penny) Chattaway. Cherished grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear son of the late Raymond and Sylvia (MacDonald) Algate; and brother of Pam Miller (Clarence), Shelley Zwartz (Ed), Dwight, Raymond and the late Karen, Carl, David, and Marilyn Algate. Also missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends
Family and friends will be received for Visitation at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville on Saturday February 3rd, 2024 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. In memory of Brian donations to the Lighthouse Café, 15 Russell St. E., Smiths Falls (through the C*Road Church) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
