In the line of Duty on Monday November 5th, 2007 in Kimmirut, Nunavut. Douglas Allen Scott of Lyn, aged 20 years. Beloved son of Douglas and Marla Scott of Lyn. Dear brother of Chad and Layne Scott both of Lyn. Douglas is survived by his maternal grandparents Gordon and Brenda Lindsay of Brockville, Sandra and Henk Jonkman of Kilimat BC, and his paternal grandparents Eileen and Don Kerr of Lyn and his maternal great grandmother Laura Brown of Riverfield, QC. Also survived by his Aunts and Uncles Glynn and Shannon Lindsay and family of Prescott, David Scott and family of Mallorytown, Chris and Lauren Scott and family of Kingston, as well as his step aunts and uncles Phillip and Tana Gilbert and family of Brockville, Susan and Andrew Jeffrey and family, David and Laura Kerr all of Kingston. Also survived by several great aunts and uncles and cousins and his extended family and close firends. Predeceased by his paternal grandfather Bernard Scott and an Aunt Margaret Scott. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday November 13th, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Wall Street United Church.
