Pirkko-Liisa Latham of Brockville, aged 76 years, entered into rest on Tuesday

April 23, 2024 at Kingston Health Sciences Centre with loved ones by her side. Beloved wife of the late John Latham. Cherished mother of Lesley Latham (Joel Hebert), Karen Latham (Charles Curtis) and Thomas Latham (Ashley Jones). Predeceased by her parents Onni and Laina Torkkeli (nee Koskela).

Liisa immigrated to Canada when she was four years old, only speaking Finnish, but adapted well. High school was where she met her one and only love, John.

They resided in the home her parents built, and made many memories there with their family. Reading was Liisa’s greatest pastime.

As keeping with Liisa’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements

entrusted to Barclay Funeral Home. In memory of Liisa, donations to the Cancer

Centre of Southeastern Ontario would be gratefully appreciated. Messages of
