Dear Amy,
Your wonderful Mom was a generous and kind friend to our family over many years. Audrey and our dad Jock Shields attended Ottawa Normal School together and graduated from teachers' college in 1948. Audrey had fond memories of my grandparents Myrla and Bob Shields from the Mulvaugh General Store. She was a wealth of knowledge and shared her passion of history with others. Audrey was a pillar of the Lansdowne community and will be greatly missed by many. May your special memories of your precious Mom wrap around you and bring you comfort. Audrey will be forever in our hearts and was a blessing to all. Peace to you and yours.

Amy,
I remember first meeting you and your mom at Willow Tree Nursery School when our family first moved here. She helped me with the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Holland Ceremony as well as the research for the interpretive sign on the importance of the railway to the village of Lansdowne. She was given a well-deserved lifetime membership to the Leeds and 1000 Islands Historical Society.
So deeply sorry for your loss.
