Obituary of Lois Margaret Algate
Suddenly entered into rest surrounded by her family and friends at the Brockville General Hospital on Saturday May 18th, 2024. Lois (Brewster) Algate of Brockville aged 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Brian Algate. Cherished mother of Philip (Christine), Victor (Penny) and Arnie (Cristine), Chattaway; and stepmother of Elvis (Melanie) and Adam Algate. Cherished grandmother of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Norman and Madeline (Babcock) Brewster; stepdaughter of the late Bernice Lynch-Brewster (Knight); sister of Douglas Brewster (Jaycinthe), Donna Brewster Benney and the late Gerald, Muriel, Arnold, Edward, Mary, Harold and Glenn. Also missed by sisters-in-law Eva and Sylvia Brewster and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends will be received for visitation at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville on Sunday May 26, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Monday May 27, 2024 from 11 to noon followed by the Funeral Service held in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment Green Bank Cemetery.
