Obituary of Elaine Mary O'Brien
On August 25, 1938, the sun rose, and the world welcomed Elaine Mary Harper. That day the world became much brighter. Elaine sadly passed away on May 25, 2024, after living a full and warm life, filled with joy, happiness, and kindness. As she was transitioning to join our guardian angels Ron and Heather, she was surrounded by family, love, and support.
Elaine was predeceased by her husband Ron and her daughter Heather. She is survived by her daughter Melinda, her bonus daughter Jen, and various family members and friends.
Elaine, your presence brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing you. It’s time for you to soar with the other angels and be free. We will think of you, Ron, and Heather every day. Please hug them for us and know that we will be ok. Together forever, and forever it will be!

The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated on Monday June 3rd, 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 66 Church St., Brockville at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, with reception to follow at Barclay Funeral Home. In memory of Elaine, donations to Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
