Obituary of Isobel Gipson

Entered into rest with family by her side at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville on Thursday July 4,2024. Isobel Jean (Wills) Gipson of Lansdowne age 99 years. Beloved wife of the late John Earl Gipson. Loving mother of Nancy Hayes (Frank), Alice Burns (Gary) and Jack  Gipson (Marlene). Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren. Isobel is survived by a brother Evan Wills and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Norma Jean Gipson, her parents Thomas and Gladys (Sly) Wills, sisters Inez Mundell, Edith Day and a brother Laurence Wills.

Family and Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince Street,

Lansdowne on Tuesday July 9, 2024 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.  A Funeral Service to

Celebrate Isobel’s Life will follow in the Chapel at 12 noon. Interment will take

place at Halladay Burial Place, Elgin. In memory of Isobel, donations to the Heart

and Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
