Passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2007 in Brockville surrounded by her dearest friend and husband of 61 years, Raymond B. Kew and their daughters Nancy Czyzewski (Michael), Valorie Kew Finnie (Stephen Dutton), Jennifer Steiner (the late Lewis) and Carole Kew (Robert Crawshaw). Her grandchildren David, Sara and Elisabeth Czyzewski, James Finnie, Lauryn and Stephanny Kew-Steiner, Carson and Christine McKelvey, her great grandchildren Veronika and Sacha Czyzewski, Seth Czyzewski-Brown, Densie and Gerald Prince will remember their Gran with love. Jean will be missed not only as a sister, sister-in-law and aunt, but also as the special friend, and surrogate mother that she was to so many. Jean was so proud of the fact that she was the daughter of James and Susan Abriel, lighthouse keepers, Popes Harbour, Nova Scotia. A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday December 8th, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville.
