Obituary of Gail Hunt

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected death of our wife, mother and grandmother, Gail Elizabeth Hunt at the age of 77 at Brockville General Hospital. 

Gail was a beloved bus driver for over 45 years and took great care in delivering her precious cargo to school each day. During her summers off, Gail enjoyed camping and spending time at the trailer with her grandsons, Zachary, Kaelan, Colyn and Emerson, making smores and octopus hotdogs. 

Gail leaves behind her best friend and husband of 57 years, Lorne. The two were inseparable soulmates, enjoying evenings at bingo, Sunday drives to the casino and dinner dates at Blockhouse Island. They also loved spending time with family and friends, especially their son, Jayson (Julie), and daughter, Lisa (Jeff), with whom they spent every holiday. Her family have fond memories of long phone calls and elaborate stories.  

Gail is also survived by her beloved sister, Mary Shultz, and sisters-in-law Judy Sargent (Charles)  and Marilyn Haskin, as well as many nieces and nephews.  

She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Gladys Delosh and a sister, Frances and another sister in infancy.
