Obituary of Sharon Flood

 Sharon M. Flood 78 (nee Fraser) of Athens, Ontario, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 24th, 2024.

Sharon was born on November 28th, 1945, to Harper and Helen Fraser in Prescott, Ontario. Sharon graduated from the St Lawrence College RNA program.  Sharon worked for Black and Decker in Brockville, Ontario for over 25 years before her retirement.

 Sharon married Glenn Flood on the 19th of March 1966. They had two children together, Glenn (Lynn Orzel) Flood Jr and Angela (Jake) Bezaire. Sharon had 5 beloved grandchildren Kasia (Stephane Drolet) Flood, Kara Flood, Harper Bezaire, Evangeline Bezaire and Lucille Bezaire. She also had two precious great grandchildren, Callum and Raina Drolet.

 Sharon is survived by her brothers and sisters Jim, Joan, Jean, Fred, Jack, Edith, Pauline and Bernice. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Tom, Edna and Ray.

 As per Sharon's wishes, there will be no service. In memory of Sharon, donations to the Palliative Care Program would be greatly appreciated by the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville.
