Obituary of Margaret Putnam

Entered into rest at the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Margaret “Peggy” Rose (Heard) Putnam of Brockville, age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Terry Putnam. Loving mother of David Putnam (Gloria) and Victoria Wallner (Kal). Cherished grandmother of Rebecca Putnam (Peter), Jennifer Putnam (Andrew), Leo and Ruby Wallner. Great grandmother of Theo and Felix Kapach. Peggy is survived by her sister Judy Sargent (Percy), and several nieces and a nephew. Predeceased by her parents William and Alexandrine (Audet) Heard and her sister, Betty Wiseman (Ken).

Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 1:00 – 2:45 p.m. A Celebration of Peggy’s Life will be held in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Lyndhurst in the Spring.
