Peacefully, at Maple View Lodge, Athens on Monday October 1, 2007. The former Shirley Alfreda Whiteland of Brockville, formerly of Athens age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late George Blanchard. Dear mother of David Blanchard and his wife Pat of Athens and Robert (Bob) Blanchard (Sue) of Stuart, Florida. Grandmother of Shawn Blanchard of Prescott, Darren Blanchard and his wife Jordan of R.R. # 1 Athens, Kevin Blanchard, Steven Blanchard and his wife Tammy all of Athens. Also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sister of Charlie Whiteland, Bernice Dafoe, Keith Whiteland (Sally) all of Brockville. Predeceased by her parents Alfred Whiteland and his wife Lora Chapman Whiteland. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Oakland Cemetery.
