Obituary of Judy Roth
Judy Roth died June 22 in Brockville, Ontario after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by daughters Jana (Jeff Harkness), and Joa (Nick Arakgi), grandchildren Vivienne and Ethan, sister Sonja Noble and extended family. Predeceased by son Lee Nielson Roth and her parents who immigrated from Denmark to Niagara Falls. Judy was a librarian and worked at St. Lawrence College for many years. Throughout her life, Judy contributed to her local communities of Stratford and Brockville by supporting and serving on many boards and councils for the arts, history, healthcare and the environment. Her passions were her family, her garden and travelling. Judy's wish was for no service or flowers, but condolences or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully received through Barclay Funeral Home in Brockville. A private family burial will take place in Niagara Falls. With sincere gratitude, Judy's family wishes to recognize the care and support of the Oncology team at Cancer Centre for Southeastern Ontario in Kingston and the Palliative team at the BGH Garden Street site in Brockville.
