Died peacefully at his residence on Friday July 6, 2007. Burton Kilner Shaw of Deseronto (formerly of Prescott) age 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Rheda Lawford. Dear father of Sheila Priestman and her husband Phil of Deseronto and Harry Shaw and his wife Kim Kurylo of Penticton, BC. Grandfather of Joanne Priestman (Charlie Montgomery) of Marysville, Karen Priestman (Jeff Nilsson) of Waterloo, Hunter, Jahnie and Starr Shaw all of Penticton. Great grandfather of Kaitlyn Montgomery. Burt is survived by 2 sisters Marjorie Walker of Lombardy, Gert Paul of Brockville,and by 2 brothers Bill Shaw (Ann) and Ken Shaw (Denise) all of Lombardy, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harold Shaw and his wife Zetta Shaw Hunter and a brother Russell Shaw. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday July 11, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
