Hazel May Sample, passed away suddenly at Ottawa General Hospital on April 18, 2007 in her 85th year. Eldest daughter of Clifford Hammond (Gallipo) and Margaret Dezell. Predeceased by her husband Eldon and son-in-law John McKenzie. Survived by her son Gordon (Kay), daughter Ruth McKenzie, grandsons Geoff (Kristi), Malcolm and Douglas McKenzie, great-grandson Logan Sample, by brother Gordon Hammond (Morna), sisters Muriel Christie, Edith Hobbs, Lois Lyle and Cora Voteary (Ray) and several nieces and nephews. Visitation is at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10- 11 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday April 21st, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Boyd Cemetery, Carleton Place .
