Wilfred Edson Slate of Brockville (formerly of the Rockport and Gananoque area) age 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Mildred Aileen Cranker Slate. Dear father of Morris Slate and his wife Nancy of Brockville, Donald Slate and his wife Pat of Rockport and Katherine Urquhart and her husband Don of Brockville. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a son Barry and 2 infants at birth. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday April 6th, 2007 at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Rockport Cemetery.
