Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on October 9, 2009 at the age of eighty-seven. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Baird, much loved mother of Alison (Dick), Rosalyn (Douglas) and Margaret (Robert). Dear sister of Alex (Anne) of Edinburgh. Proud Granny of Jordan, Nicholas and Taylor. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the caregivers, nurses and hospital staff who have touched her life over the past 23 years. A private family service will be held Saturday, October 17 at the Rideau Memorial Gardens in Montreal.
