Peacefully, at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Thursday May 24, 2007. The former Gladys Mary Reid of Brockville, age 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Alfred George Forrester. Stepmother of Betty Morin and her husband Bertrand of Kingston, Verna Mortensen of Amherstview, George Forrester and his wife Pat of Calgary and Ruth Ramsey of Scarborough. Also survived by numerous stepgrandchildren and great granchildren and a brother James Reid of Grimsby as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by stepchildren Alice Forrester, Richard Forrester, John Edward Forrester, Kay Taylor, Lawrence Forrester, Miriam Henley and brothers William and Jack Reid and a sister Florence Reid. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Tuesday May 29, 2007 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
