Beloved husband of the former Jean Stevens and the late Marjorie Jean Shortridge. Dear father of David Miles and his wife Tina of Calgary, Richard Miles and his wife Sandra of Brockville and Michael Miles and his wife Margie of Nobleton. Grandfather of christopher Wood, Carol Miles, Andrew Miles, Thomas Miles, Ryan Miles, Brody Miles, Christian Archer, Alec Miles and Daniel Miles. Step-father of Lorraine Murray and her husband Daryl of Manotick, Hal Mott and his wife Corinne of Kanata, John Mott and his wife Lynn of Brockville and Roy Mott and his wife Susan of Osgoode. Step-grandfather of Ben and Sam Murray, Kathleen, Ryan, Jacob, Lucas, Jamie, Lee and Wade Mott. Also survived by a brother Donald Miles and his wife Earla of Dundas and a sister Doris Wallace of Calgary, 1 nephew and several nieces. Predeceased by a son Gordon John Miles and his parents Alfred John Miles and his wife Ivy May Alder Miles.
