Entered into rest at the Oak Terrace Nursing Home, Orillia on Friday February 2, 2007. Frederick (Fred) Thomas Shepherd of Orillia (formerly of the Brockville area). Beloved husband of the late Eunice Flora Potter and the late Agnes Campeau Mellon. Father of John Thomas Shepherd and his wife Helen of Lyndhurst. Also survived by a great-nephew Steve Hall. Step-father of Loretta Metcalfe of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Wanda Thompson of North Bay, James Mellon and his wife Bev. of Ingersoll, Mary-Lee Maxim of Kingston, Joy Fader of Lyn and Dana Mellon and his wife Sharon of Brockville. Survived by 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. At the request of Mr. shepherd there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held in the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville. Interment at a later date. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
