Peacefully with his family at his side at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden St. Site on Sunday December 31, 2006. Gene Wayne Amell Sr. of Prescott aged 65 years. Beloved husband of the late Donna Elaine Farley. Dear father of Gene Amell and his wife Joanne of Ottawa, Christine Hendriks and her husband Pierre of Spencerville, Karen Amell of Pickering and Jessie Amell and her husband Dan of Prescott. Loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren. Dear son of Jessie Amell and the late Morton Amell Sr. Brother of Mort Amell and his wife Louise and Bonnie Kearney and her husband Des all of Brockville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Wayne is also survived by his dear companion Lorraine Kerr. Predeceased by a brother Neil Amell. Friends mall call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday January 5, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ingleside at a later date. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Central Masonic Lodge No. 110 A.F. & A.M.
