Peacefully with family by her side at the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital on Wednesday September 2, 2009. Rosemary (Flood) Deir of Brockville age 96 years. Wife of the late Leonard Deir. Dear Mom of Ann Whaley (Bob), Gerald Deir (Joanne), Marie Trickey, Raymond Deir (Teri) and Helen Deir. Loving Nan of 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Bernard Flood and his wife Jennie (Burns) Flood, 2 sons Ronald and Pat, a granddaughter Bailey Brooke Zaveda, a son-in-law Murray Trickey, daughter-in-law Joyce Fenlong and sisters Bertha Lynch and Helen Ivey. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Friday morning from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Friday September 4, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, Ballycanoe.
