Beloved husband of the late Marion McTavish Smith. Dear father of Sharon Mellon and her husband Dana of Brockville, Bonnie Day and her husband Gordon of RR# 4 Brockville, Donna Hodge and her husband Ray of Athens and Diana Bresee and her husband Bob of Newboro. Loving grandfather of Daniel Mellon and his wife Erica, Joseph Mellon, Sally Mellon, Troy Bresee and his wife Natasha, Gordon Hodge and Nicole Hodge. Also survived by 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Norman Smith and his wife Alma Davy Smith, three brothers Carl, Lloyd and Bruce and two sisters Grace and Phyllis. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday November 3, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
