Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Wednesday July 15, 2009. Hilliard John Crawford of Lansdowne aged 87 years. Beloved husband of the former Loreen Webster. Dear father of June Nichols and her husband Al of Lansdowne. Loving and proud grandfather of Parish Nichols and his wife Shelley of Lansdowne and Travis Nichols and his wife Kelly of Charleston Lake. Great-grandfather of Mikayla and Jade. Dear brother of Phyllis McNeil (Glen) of Owen Sound and Leah Moorhead (Alban) of Lansdowne. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his son Elmer in 1964, his parents Andrew Rae and Ida Ruth (Praskey) Crawford and siblings Ida, Freda, Bertrim, Elmer, Willard, Robert, Monty, Violet, Mildred and Frances. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, Lansdowne on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Lansdowne United Church on Saturday July 18, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
