Helen Margaret Warr, age 86 years, died suddenly at Mayfield Retirement Residence, Prescott where she was recovering from hip surgery. Helen is survived by her loving daughter Janice Ritchie of Nepean, her son in law Eric Ritchie and her dear grandchildren Ellyn and Jonathan. She is also survived by her brother and sister in law Jerry and Jean Ainsworth of Kanata, as well as many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband John in March 2006 and previously by her sister Alice Bahen and by her brothers Herbert and Clarence Ainsworth. Living on Oak Street, Brockville for the past 52 years Helen was a well-liked and caring neighbour. The family would like to thank the devoted Red Cross caregivers who enabled John and Helen to remain in their home as their health declined over the past few years. Since Helen was ill at the time of John's death there will be a joint visitation and celebration of their lives on Saturday October 7, 2006 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Donations to the Red Cross, VON, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Trinity Anglican Church Fund would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
