Gently with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday October 15th, 2006 at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site. The former Reta Doreen Kingston of R.R. # 2 Brockville, aged 71 years. Beloved wife of Orville Leland Bernard. Dear mother of Rick Bernard, Wanda Bernard both of Brockville, Roger Bernard and his wife Mary Tersa of R.R. # 2 Brockville, Karen Schipper and her husband Rob of Oxford Station, Kevin Bernard and his wife Karen of England and Millie Bernard of Brockville. Survived by 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, a sister Margaret Chisamore of Lyn as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Wellington Kingston and his wife Jennie (Cummings) Kingston, brother Harold Kingston, sister Ruth Kingston and a brother in law Clifford Chisamore. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday October 19th. at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.
