Beloved husband of the former Dinah White. Dear father of David Merkx (Christina) of Vermont. Grandfather of Ryan and Anna. Brother of Helena Julien (Maurice) and Geraldine Merkx both of Addison. Uncle of Joe Julien of Addison, Jim Julien (Christina) of Ottawa, Terry Julien (Kathleen) of Addison and Chris Julien (Laura) of Brockville. Great uncle to Alex, Ben, Nichols, Sarah, Phillip and Thomas. Predeceased by a brother Marinus Merkx. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be Celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Friday October 27, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
