Long-time and well known resident, passed away peacefully with family and friend at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, July 25th. 2006. Marion Florence Howison of Brockville in her 104th. year. Beloved sister of Helen M. Howison of Brockville. Daughter of the late George Charles Howison and his wife Florence Harriett Gibbins Howison. Survived by several nieces and nephews, including George Howison of Brockville, Rosemary Purdy of London, John Howison and his wife Anne of Brockville, Judy Johnston and her husband Dick of Rockport, Sharron Vander Meer of Brockville and Florence Bolton and her husband Wayne of Hamilton. Also survived by very dear friends Val and Dr. Don Smylie and Gerry Northrup, all of Brockville. Predeceased by brothers Gibbins, Gordon, Arthur, Harold and John Howison, a sister Edyth Howison and sisters-in-law Opal and Iva Howison. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 28th. 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
