Entered into rest at St. Lawrence Lodge on Tuesday March 14th 2006. Donald James Byers of Brockville aged 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Viola Gertrude Deval Byers. Dear father of Shermaine Somerville of Brockville. Grandfather of Sean Somerville and Lorrie Lynn Somerville both of Athens. Brother of William Byers of Renfrew. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Margaret Kirkwood Byers, a son-in-law John Somerville and a brother Allan Byers. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday March 18th. 2006 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be held at New Dublin Cemetery in the spring.
