Passed away peacefully with dignity at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday April 13, 2006. Sidney George Philp of Brockville (formerly of Montreal) age 81 years. Beloved husband of the former Mary Marshall. Dear father of Freda Cott (Toni) of Oakville, Leslie Philp (Geri) of Jasper, Edna Huggler (Hans) of Oregon, Jim Philp of Vancouver and Liz Philp (Stephen) of Hudson, Quebec. Grandfather of Jamie, Pete, Stefan, Matthew, Colin, Nicholas, Lisa, Marissa, Brandon, Emily and Shayna. Also survived by a great grandson Kristopher. Predeceased by his parents Sidney H. Philp and his wife Agnes Walker Philp. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Friday April 21, 2006 from 2-4 p.m., with the Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel at 4 p.m. In memoriams to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
