Entered into rest at the Ottawa Civic Hospital peacefully with his family by his side on Monday November 7th. 2005. Rolland "Rolly" Amyotte of Brockville aged 81 years. Beloved husband of the former Gladys Bogart. Dear father of Sheila Rhodes and her husband Roger of Brockville, Wayne Amyotte and his wife Lynn of Mallorytown, Irving Amyotte and his wife Sandy, William "Wink" Amyotte and his wife Sandra, Allan Amyotte and his wife Nancy all of Brockville. Grandfather of Shannon, Amanda, Teri, Steven, Adam, Nick, Kelly, Justin and Lance. Brother of Blanche MacCormack of Orleans, Dorothy Smith of Melbourne, Florida, Lawrence Amyotte and his wife Emily of Smiths Falls, James Amyotte and his wife Lorraine of Nova Scotia and Bernie Amyotte and his wife Fay of Brockville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Willaim Amyotte and his wife Philmena Soulier Amyotte and a brother William Amyotte of Brockville. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. the Funeral Service will be held on Friday November 11th. 2005 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemtery. In memoriams to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Officers and Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #96, Brockville will hold a Memorial Service in the Funeral Home on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
