Peacefully with her family by her side, at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday August 28th. 2005. The former Mavis Ellen Brooks of Brockville, age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late W. Glenn Smith. Dear mother of Heather Knack of Saranac Lake, NY, and Holly Welch and her husband John of Brockville. Grandmother of Hillary Knack of Kingston, Chris Knack and his fiance Julie of Windsor and Darcie Knack and her friend Jeff of Louisville, Kentucky. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 sisters and 4 brothers Stanley, Frank, Harry, Laura, Stuart and Margaret. Friends mayy call at the Barclay Funeral home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville, Tuesday 7-9 p.m. The funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday August 31st. 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Brockville.
