Peacefully at Extendicare Nursing Home in Kingston on August 19th, 2005 in her 94th year. Gladys was a long term resident of Brockville and is predeceased by her husband Sgt. M. E. (Tim) Armstrong and dearest friend Margorie Toshack. She will be sorely missed by her brother Donny, sister Mar, daughters Faye Dodge and Susan Armstrong, her grandchildren John Milton,Diana Lee, Timothy Robert, Valerie Margorie Gladys and Perrie Faye, her great-grandchildren Joel John, Jonathan and Jackson, friend Maie Karusoo and numerous nieces and nephews. Interment at United Cemeteries in Carleton Place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society which would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
