Peacefully at the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital on Friday August 5, 2005. The former Arlene Gibson of Lyn, beloved wife of Stanley George Bryan. Dear mother of Ronald Bryan and his wife Anne, Leslie Bryan and his wife Mary all of RR# 1 Lyn and Shirley Avery and her husband Steven of RR# 3 Brockville. Loving grandmother of Paul Bryan, Cheryl Purvis and her husband Larry, James Coates and his wife Penny and Pamela Simons and her husband Michael. Sister of Audrey Ferguson (her twin) of Brockville, Marion Summers and her husband Donald of Kingston, also survived by 2 sisters in law Jean Gibson of Brockville and Jean Gibson of Capereol as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Roy Gibson and Nettie Herbison Gibson, a sister Dorothy Swerdfeger and 3 brothers Donald, Lorne and Francis. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in Christ United Church, Lyn on Monday August 8, 2005 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Yonge Mills Cemetery. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Lyndale Rebekah Lodge # 313 will hold a memorial service at the Funeral Home on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. all sister lodges are invited to attend.
