Peacefully with his family by his side at the Brockville General hospital, on Monday August 22nd. 2005. James (Jim) Edward Whitehorne of Brockville age 86 years. Beloved husband of the former Gladys McBroom. Dear father of Jane (Glenn) Cuthbert, Alex (Sharon), Doug (Kim), Ron (Connie) and Veldon. Survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, a sister Hilda Conklin, sister in law Jean Whitehorne and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son David and brothers Gordon, Laurence and Howard Whitehorne. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Prescott on Thursday August 25th. 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Maynard Cemetery.
