Obituary of Thomas Percy Jodoin

Entered into rest peacefully in Ottawa on May 1st. 2005, in his 85th. year. Predeceased by his wife Connie (Saunders), of 59 years. Survived by his sister Doris Gougeon (Roy) of Winnipeg. Beloved father of Douglas Jodoin (Gail) and Priscilla Kent. Proud grandfather of Todd (Vickie), Brent (Vickie) and Tiffani Jodoin and Chad (Bronwyn) Kent and Alana (Steve) Yates, Great-grandfather of Ethan, Micaella, Isabelle, Rebekah and Aidan. A longtime resident of Brockville and Lieutenant in the Black Watch Regiment during WWII, who contributed to the Liberation of Holland at Walcharen Island. He was employed for 35 years with the Department of Immigration at the Thousand Islands Bridge. He was an active member and past president of Branch 96 of the Royal Canadian Legion and was co-founder of Legion Village. A member of St. Francis Xavier Church, he will be greatly missed by his many friends and family members to whom he was deeply devoted. Visitation to be held on Wednesday, May 4th. 2005 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Francis Xavier Church on Thursday, May 5th. 2005 at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully appreciated.
