Entered into rest at Renfrew on Monday June 27, 2005. Anson James Melvin Swerdfeger of Renfrew (formerly of Brockville) age 59 years. Beloved husband of Cheryl Bowes Thompson. Father of Anson Swerdfeger (Kim) of Peterborough, Jennifer Hayes (Sean) of Windsor and Julie Swerdfeger of Brockville. Also survived by several grandchildren. Dear brother of Marilyn Slack (Charles) of Lyn and Carolyn Sauve (Phil) of RR# 1 Brockville. Survived by a stepson Dean Windle of Renfrew and a step daughter Danielle Logan (Daryl) of Smiths Falls. Also survived by his step mother Bessie Swerdfeger of Iroquois, a step brother Morris Henopny (Ethel) of Brinston and a step sister Pat Strader (John) of Iroquois and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clifford Swerdfeger and Ruth Barclay Swerdfeger. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday July 1, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
