passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday June 23, 2005 after a three- plus year battle with ALS (Lou Geherigs disease). Survived by his wife Lanie, father Harold of Vermont, predeceased by his mother Barbara Ann. Also survived by his sister Katherine Brouwer and a brother Sean and a much loved extended family. Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl St. East on Sunday June 26, 2005 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. & 3 - 5 p.m. A Memorial Remembrance will be held in the Chapel at 5 p.m. A Reception will follow at the Brockville Country Club at 6 p.m. In remembrance, donations can bemade to the ALS Society in memory of Jim.
